John Kier Young

Peacefully, surrounded by caring family and friends, at Dalweem House Care Home, Aberfeldy, on Saturday, 1st November 2025.

John Young, a dedicated man whose kindness and expertise enriched the lives of many, former highly respected President of the Scottish Association of Scottish Master Bakers.

He was the beloved son of the late George and Lena Young, and a treasured cousin. John will be deeply missed by his extended family and a wide circle of cherished friends in Aberfeldy.

A private family interment will be followed by a Memorial Service to which all who knew and loved John are warmly invited. This will be held at Weem Parish Church on Monday, 17th November, at 2.30 p.m.

The family kindly requests no flowers, but suggests that donations, if desired, be made in John's memory to a cause close to his heart, the RNLI.
